Review: 'OOBERFUSE'
'Why Oh Why'

-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: '15th July 2013'

Our Rating:
Ooberfuse are a street smart electro-pop group from foggy London town who are hell-bent on fulfilling their mission of bringing 'Ooberfusiasm' to the tired, withered carcass of Western pop. Their new single Why Oh Why is certainly setting the paving stone for them to do just that.

A track born from such a reflective question with such meaningful lyrics, it's unexpectedly cheerful. The introduction is a bright blend of synth and guitar which accompanies singer, Cherri's vocals brilliantly. You're then hurled into the whirlwind of catchy pop beats and synth with a generous dose of strong vocals and a sprinkling of infectious "ooh ah babies". There's no doubt this track just makes you want to grab a hairbrush microphone and sing loudly in front of the bathroom mirror, don't pretend you don't know what I mean.

Putting aside the fact that the subject of the track is so truly mind-boggling, this song is astonishingly easy to listen to. A perfect summer song.
