Review: 'Keys'
'Innocuous Beats'

-  Label: 'Sturm Und Drang Recordings'
-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '6th May 2013'-  Catalogue No: 'SUD108'

Our Rating:
The bassline’s lifted straight off a mi-80s Fall album, then fuzzed out and dubbed up and coupled with a nagging guitar line and shouty rude boy vocals. The resultant racket is a kind of lo-fi indie take on The Clash. This three-tracker wields a raw choppy racket that’s rabble-rousing and entertaining. More to the point, it’s not just about the beats, and is anything but innocuous – which can only be a good thing.
