Review: 'Camden, Ken'
'Space Mirror'

-  Album: 'Space Mirror' -  Label: 'Kranky'
-  Genre: 'Ambient' -  Release Date: '29th July 2013'

Our Rating:
It begins with an undulating analogue bubbling, and as spaced-out and spacious incidentals ebb and flow, brighten and fade across the immense sonic vista that begins to emerge, the listener finds themselves transported through both space and time.

'Space Mirror' could reasonably be described as ambient Krautrock, although this would fall short of conveying the textural atmospheres Camden forges. Infinitely greater than the sum of its parts – namely guitar and effects – and infinitely, well, infinite in scope, 'Space Mirror' brings zero-gravity to the mind and body to provide a truly cosmic listening experience.
