The artwork suggested some chill-out Enya meets All About Eve wistful type stuff, yet the press release reckons All She Wrote are a hotly tipped UK Rock Combo. In reality, neither are true.
Prosaically, the truth is this is as by-the-numbers modern, slightly metallic indie rock as you can find. It's bland to the point of being instantly forgettable for most of its time on my stereo as it could be any one of hundreds of similar bands.
Nothing stands out at all until you get to the final track of the six track EP, Finis Principio, which is a very cool almost classical chill out song that's really sparse. Had the other 5 tracks been even half as good as this then they really would be worth checking out. As it is I'd just download Finis Principio and ignore the rest of it. Sorry guys.
