A remorselessly upbeat slice of commercial synth-pop from this German singer's forthcoming Contradictions album. In the video she switches outfit continuously as if trying to distract us from the banal superficiality of the song. It doesn't work! Jana says her songs "are meant to give you hope" but if this is the shape of pop music to come, despair is the most likely reaction. Avoid. Jana Josephina's website
