-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '17th March 2014'-  Catalogue No: 'sexybeast17'

Our Rating:
Damn Vandals have achieved a lot in a short time. Exploding in 2010 with debut single ‘This Amazing’, they’ve earned a reputation as an exhilarating live act as well as critical acclaim from all the right places. And rightly so. Their debut album was a stonker, and whaddaya know, album number two is just around the corner. ‘Twist Up and Tangle’ arrives as the first taster and it shows the band have lost none of their impetus or fire.

Flipside ‘I Bring You Love’ is a fidgety swinger that comes on like a bluesier, ballsier Doors as they embark on a bloody killing spree in the company of The Cramps. Jack Kansas wheezes, grinds and grinds his way deliriously through a stomping riff.

If the album is of a similar standard, it’s going to be another rip snorter.
