Review: 'JOSEPHINA, JANA'
'Dreamcatcher (single)'

-  Label: 'Self Released'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: '27th October 2014'

Our Rating:
Josephina is a native of Frankfurt but sings Euro-pop English. In saying that, the language is all but irrelevant as her lyrics are effectively drowned out by some hyper active electro-pop backing courtesy of producer Joe Cross.

Her voice therefore comes over like a muffled version of Kate Bush and her words apparently "portray the emotions she feels as an artist".

She says: "I am unable to escape the songs and ideas that consume my mind".

This plight is visually rendered in the inevitable video in which she flounces around the streets of London with only a duvet to preserve her modesty.

Like her previous singles the production values are high but scratch at the glossy surface and there's little beneath.
