Review: 'FIRESTATIONS'
'Forgetful Man (single)'

-  Label: 'Waltz Time Records'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: '27th October 2014'-  Catalogue No: 'WT010'

Our Rating:
This track precedes the release of the album 'Never Closer' and is gently melodic affair with hints of mellow psychedelia.

The London five-piece are happy to refer themselves as a "dream pop guitar band" and their sound is lazy but never to the point of being sloppy.

The single comes complete with a 'Bit Cloudy' remix which adds some electro-pop detail yet still breezes along in a pleasantly languid manner.

It's a song which oozes with quiet, understated confidence and, despite having no memorable hook, it sticks with you.
