With driving guitars powering anthemic choruses, it’s no surprise that this female-fronted quintet invite comparisons with Paramore, Young Guns and Mallory Knox. Big on energy without stinting on emotional conviction, the four tracks on this EP are accessible and melodic without being limp or overtly emo.
The chiming guitars and rolling drums of the slow-burning lighter-waver, ‘April’ marks a change in texture and tempo and hints at a band more versatile than many of their peers.
