Who’da thunk it? A band called Shitkill does some kind of ugly hybrid of thrash, hardcore and groove metal?
The title track boasts some powerhouse percussion that pummels away under a riot of chunky, blunt-edged power chord chuggage while the vocals yowl and yelp and spit bile. It’s raw, aggressive and forceful, and calls to mind the brutal nihilism of 90s acts like Bomb Disneyland. Shitkill aren’t here to be your mates. They’re here to kick you in the knackers and batter you round the head with a heavy sonic baseball bat. And that’s exactly what they do with this EP.
