Fred Abbott was previously the guitarist / keyboardist with the lauded Noah and The Whale, who called it a day on 1st April this year. Seemingly it was no April fool gag, but Fred’s not wasted any time in unveiling his first post NATW material.
The band’s swerve toward drivetime rock on their last album has been credited to Fred’s input, and it should perhaps come as no surprise that he should preface his debut solo album with a song that sounds like Tom Petty covering ‘You Ain’t Seen Nothin’ Yet’. It’s probably also rather fitting, and who knows, maybe we haven’t....
