Vladimir – In My Head
27th April 2015

It’s all happening for young Dundee band Vladimir. As support to The Twilight Sad not so long back, they slayed audiences around the UK. Not to mention their slots alongside The Wytches, Pulled Apart By Horses, The View, Peace and Catfish and The Bottlemen... And now they’ve only gone and bagged a London slot supporting The Fall. It could be a challenging occasion, but ‘In My Head’ shows they’ve got the mettle for it.

Combining heartfelt vocals and full throttle guitars melded to powerhouse percussion, it’s layered, textured, dynamic and most of all, exciting. Pulling in elements of post-punk and shoegaze, but with an outward-facing aggression, it’s powerful stuff.
