Review: 'KMFDM'
'Salvation EP'

-  Label: 'Metropolis Records'
-  Genre: 'Industrial' -  Release Date: '10th July 2015'

Our Rating:
Released in conjunction with the band’s summer Salvation tour, the relentless KMFDM offer up an EP containing a slew of remixes of tracks from their recent ‘Our Time Will Come’ album.

The lead track slams an ultra-metal overloading guitar which grinds over a thumping dance beat, and being KMFDM, it’s as bombastic as hell. The dual vocals occupy opposing segments, and in cutting from grinding disco to thick, grating guitars, it’s almost like two songs have been brutally spliced.

‘Blood vs Money’ is a NIN-like blast of industrialism, while ‘Brainwashed’ slaps socio-political ire over and easy dance tune, and thanks in no small part to the remixes, the EP represents the poppier side of KMFDM.
