Review: 'Limb'
'Terminal'

-  Album: 'Terminal' -  Label: 'New Heavy Sounds'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '11th September 2015'

Our Rating:
‘Terminal’ finds Limb lurching out some heavy riffs with a swagger: while stoner / doom is their thing, there are elements of straight ahead classic metal melted down into the molten mix, giving the crunching riffs a more uptempo groove. It’s definitely music you can headbang to.

‘Dawn Raiders’ brings a low-slung grove to some scorching guitars and evokes the spirit of Motorhead. Equally, ‘Spoils of a Portrait King’ has echoes of Killing Joke’s ‘Total Invasion’, but bleaker, more scorched, more darkly devastating. It’s hard to argue with the heads-down boogie of ‘Down by the Banks,’ either.

It’s a beast alright.
