Review: 'Humble Grapes, The'
'Brooklyn Bridge'

-  Label: 'Independent/ Miles High Productions'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: 'October 30th '15'

Our Rating:
A songwriting duo based in New York, the new single from The Humble Grapes is titled 'Brooklyn Bridge'. It's a nice, relatively simple pop ditty which tells a sad tale based around that most iconic of NYC landmarks.

Accompanied by a lovely video which you can find on YouTube, the single out out now on iTunes, and shows of just why The Humble Grapes are doing so well on the independent New York scene at the moment.

Their piano based brand of pop is direct, raw, and fun while retaining an air of melancholy at times, particularly in the case of this single.

But don't let that fool you into thinking this is a slow, turgid piece. There is pace about it, but it's spaced out enough to let the piano and unusual vocal flow nicely.
