Sheffield melodic metal merchants Immension keep on cranking ‘em out. ‘Love Never Dies’ is lifted from their debut album ‘In Vain’, and is entirely representative. Here in radio edit form, it’s a colossal piano-led power ballad that calls heavily on the sound of latter-day Metallica. By which I mean it’s more melodic than it is metal. It’s accompanied by a suitably preposterous video. Fine if you like that sort of thing, I suppose, but it’s all a bit pompous.
