Review: 'ALDINUCCI, GIULIO'
'Yellow Horse'

-  Label: 'Manyfeetunder/Concrete'
-  Genre: 'Ambient' -  Release Date: '23rd December 2015'

Our Rating:
The single 29 minute composition which makes up this album is the work of an electro-acoustic artist born in Sienna, Italy in 1981.

Between 2006-2001, Aldinucci released three albums under to the name Obsil, a word which stood for 'observing silence'.

His works since then have included released on imprints based in Russia, North America and Australia indicating that his music has no solid geographic roots.

Yellow Horse consists of field recordings and synthetic sounds collected over the past decade which have been processed and re-shaped to represent "a constant dialogue with memory".

Although formless at times, the organic drones and sounds of nature give it a warmth that belies its mechanised origins.
