Featuring Kelly Joe Phelps on guitar and vocals, the playing is immaculate and the arrangements are tasteful yet by smoothing down any rough edges this is pretty soporific stuff long before we reach the lullaby-esque finale: Night Falls Away Singing.
Bob Harris has declared himself a massive fan a fact that should tell you that this is the kind of mellow Radio 2 friendly new country that is soothing, lilting and eloquent yet ultimately fairly bland and boring.
