Review: 'KEKAULA, LISA & WILLIAMSON, JAMES'
'I Love My Tutu'

-  Label: 'i-tunes'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '12th August 2016'

Our Rating:
This is the second single Lisa and James have put out together and this one is to raise money for Homeless children in Hawaii for the project Hawai'i charity. If you are wondering why they are supporting this charity it's in the main because Lisa comes from Hawaii and James has a long history of spending time in Hawaii with his family and of playing Hawaiian guitar in the years when he wasn't involved in the music business so they both have a love for the islands.

The A-side is a very laid back Caribbean-flavoured song that almost lollops along as if you are going to be skanking to it as Lisa breathily sings about loving her Tutu and James plays some very cool but restrained guitar. It sounds very summery and is all about the relationships within families and especially grandmothers.

The B-side Never Far From Where The Wild Things Are is a lot more like you'd expect this pair to sound. It's a full-on Stooges-style song about well the book Where The Wild Things Are. It has a classic James Williamson Riff and Lisa is in full on Bellrays style howling at the moon full-throated vocals. A great blast that for many fans will be the song they return to most on this single.

So go and give some money to a good cause and get a cool 7" single into the bargain from:
