Review: 'FROTH'
'Outside (Briefly)'

-  Label: 'Wichita Recordings'
-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '10th February 2017'

Our Rating:
Part fuzzy dream pop, part motorik-fueled shoegaze rock, this four-piece band from LA do their best to blend the light and the heavy with mixed results.

The opening track of their third album, Contact has resolutely Krautrock influences. This is in marked contrast to the dewy-eyed breeziness of a song like Sensitive Girl.

At times it's like a shinier version of My Bloody Valentine but then the psychedelic glow of Show A Flower A Candle And It Grows seem to tap into a different soundscape entirely.

It's all a bit confusing but for those unsure what mood they're in, this bipolar pop/rock should connect at some point.
