Review: 'Deep.Sleep'
'Soho'

-  Label: 'End Of The Trail Records'
-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: '29th September 2017'

Our Rating:
Deep.Sleep are described as ‘The 1975 meets New Order’ – like it’s some kind of selling point. Like Soho itself, this single is so last year. Yes, it’s catchy, and the Newcastle quartet clearly have a knack for a hook and for melody that’s easy on the ear and well-suited to radio.

‘It’s all Soho to me,’ they sing against a cascade of rippling, jangly guitars. For me, it’s all Vienna (in the Ultravox sense), but I’m sure there are plenty of people out there who will be excited by the prospect of this year’s Bastille.
