Yes, this album does exactly what it says on the proverbial tin, or in this case, album cover: delivering 100 songs in 11 minute and representing Anal Trump’s complete output to date, it’s an instant grindcore classic from a band who cite Napalm Death and Anal Cunt as primary influences.
A detailed review feels somewhat redundant: each song is a full-throttle explosion of noise and screaming, and most are three or four seconds in duration. According to the press blurb, ‘The First 100 Songs’ pays tribute to classic AxCx album titles like ‘The 110 Song CD’ and ‘5643 Song EP’.
The titles tell you all you really need to know: this monumentally abrasive duo who go by the pseudonyms Rob and Travis Trump, and whose faces are perpetually covered by Donald Trump masks, have made it their mission to rail against the divisive right-wing bigotry of the POTUS, on releases including ‘If You Thought 6,000,000 Jews Was a Lot of People, You Should Have Seen My Inauguration!’, ‘If You Wanted To Qualify For Health Insurance, Then Maybe You Shouldn't Have Gotten Raped?’ and ‘To All the Broads I’ve Nailed Before.’
With each song taking its title from a quote or paraphrase, Anal Trump drag us into some kind of Beavis and Butthead meets Nathan Barley world, offering song titles like ‘Journalism is Gay’, ‘Sick People are Gay’, ‘Changing Diapers is Gay’, ‘PTSD is Gay’, ‘Breastfeeding is Gay’ and ‘Mammograms are Gay’ sitting alongside ‘Dave Mustaine is Cool’, ‘Ted Nugent is Cool’ and ‘Alex Jones Is Smart’.

And so they tear their way through ‘Grab ‘em by the Pussy’, ‘My Daughter is a Piece of Ass’, ‘I’d Date my Daughter’, ‘Make America Great Again’, spitting anti-Trump anti-capitalist, anti-fascist sentiment with brutal force. It doesn’t get any more basic than this, it doesn’t get any more raw than this, and it doesn’t come much more niche than this. But fr a quick hit of vitriol, you’re not going to find better than this.
