The ALL CAPS title and exclamation mark imply an outburst or a declaration.
The music is more discreet.
The four untitled solo piano compositions (Parts 1- 4) range in duration from seven to fourteen minutes.
They were recorded during two summer nights in the high altitude Hoshi To Nijl Studio in Japan's Minami Alps National Park.
Repetition and minimalism give the pieces a hypnotic quality but this is more than simply ambient background music.
What the gifted Roman musician calls "stumming music" is full of zest and vitality.
The listener is invited to both marvel at his technique and swim in the simmering rhythms.
