Our Rating:
This new single from Stockholm based Swedish Australian duo has three versions of this song off of Tiny Fighters upcoming album Going Home.

The Original version of Perfect Game is a beautiful and sparse piano led love song that reminds me of Feist and the less annoying bits of Stina Nordenstam, it's slight but very cool and is easy to hear a few times.

Perfect Game (The Fall Apart Mix) is sort of a chill out drum and bass remix with enough going on once the bass really kicks in to be fine for some slinky reasonably slow dance floor action. With the middle drum and bass section really making the bass speakers wobble as we all wonder what is making the world go round as well as all that money. For me the best version on the single.

The Monolog Rockstars remix of The Perfect Game adds some cool effects and far more Autotune than on the other versions and for me this is the version that works least well even as the slightly pleading vocals are enveloped in the mix it becomes the sort of pop banger that generally doesn't do much for me but I am not really in the target audience and I'm sure plenty of younger listeners will really like this mix.

Tiny Fighters earlier single Strangest Thing was also included with this and on this song they are far more of a straight indie pop song with a modern sheen to it and Therese Karlson's vocals have a nice rich timbre that reminds me of Heidi Mortenson.
