Review: 'Knightress M1'
'Lock & Key'

-  Label: 'I-Tunes/Spotify'
-  Genre: 'Heavy Metal' -  Release Date: '17.8.20.'

Our Rating:
It's not often a band features members of Whitesnake and Kirstin Hersh and takes longer to read the press release than the single take to play, but that's the case for Knightress M1 that features Uriah Duffy from Whitesnake and Rob Ahlers from Kirstin Hersh and 50 ft Wave backing the vocal and violin talents of Emily Palen for this single.

Lock & Key reminds me a bit of Lacuna Coil although that could be the drumming more than the vocals but it draws you into the slightly paranoid world they are creating and the storm the guitars make rage as we figure out just what Emily wants to place under Lock & Key and well the guitars are really great in the way they work with the violin. It certainly makes me want to hear the rest of the album.
