This could almost be an outtake from ‘You’re Living All Over Me’ – the fragile, emotionally-wracked vocal, wistful and almost apologetic, hiding timorously amidst a deluge of fuzzed-out overdriven guitars. The playing style is loose, the production muddy. There’s even a whacking great solo worthy of J Mascis that crashes in around two-thirds in and blisters and peels its way to the end, articulating as much, if not more, than words alone ever could.
