Review: 'Modesty Blaise'
'Girls Just Wanna Dance'

-  Label: 'Lo-Fi To Disco!'
-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: '5.2.21.'

Our Rating:
Modesty Blaise are back for those of us that remember them from the bands heyday in the 1990's, even if I remember seeing them live, was it once or twice, I am hazy about where I might have seen them, but I'd guess either the Bull & Gate in Kentish Town or The Garage at Highbury Corner. This single is a taster for the bands eponymous third album that is due out at the end of March.

Girls Just Wanna Dance is apparently a live favorite and it's easy to hear why as it's almost the missing link between My Life Story and The Divine Comedy it sounds like they have a very large band playing on the single with a cool string section and some great keyboards as they tell us that Girls Just Wanna dance and the best way top make friends with said girls is to dance with them. Who could argue with them when a single is as catchy as this one undoubtedly is!
