Review: 'Ava Vox'
'Alone Again'

-  Label: 'Bandcamp'
-  Genre: 'Rock' -  Release Date: '9.2.22.'

Our Rating:
This is the second single from Dublin born and County Meath based Ava Vox's debut album Immortalised that's due out at the end of the month, it has been produced by Ray McLoughlin who has worked with Cliff Richard, Francis Black and Rick Astley among other top goth acts.

Alone Again is a song about domestic abuse and how no matter how bad the abuse when you leave said abuser they often find a way to draw you back in with endless promises that they have changed for good this time, only for the grim reality to be the abuse returning often worse than before this sad tale is wrapped up in a tempestuous goth rock backing that's sort of like Play Dead or The Eden House with Ana's vocals full of the pain and suffering of the victim whose being punched and kicked and dragged about until she falls unable to take it anymore.
