Review: 'Die Wilde Jagd'
'In Wonnenhieben'

-  Label: 'Bureau B/Bandcamp'
-  Genre: 'Industrial' -  Release Date: '8.12.22.'

Our Rating:
In Wonnenhieben is the first single from Die Wilde Jagd's fourth album Ophio that's due out on 24th February. This features the current line up of the band Sebastian Lee Phillip along with Lih Qun Wong, Nina Seigler and Ran Levari. With Vactrol Park helping Sebastian with the production. This single is far more concise than Die Wilde Jagd last release I reviewed Atem that was an hour long electronic musical journey.

In Wonnenhieben sounds like a goth nursery rhyme, slow ambient pulsing, with careful piano, treated cello enhancing the frosty feelings of the music. The title translates roughly as "In Blows Of Delight" as they dichotomy of good and evil are discussed in an internal monologue that become the lyrics.
