Visitation is the debut solo album from a Connecticut born visual artist and musician who currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon. It comprises eight subdued instrumental songs played on mellotron and e-bowed guitars. It is all written, arranged, recorded, and produced by Bessel.
A cryptic album statement references snow globes of living….a tin soldier army …..the vibration of being [and] a nostalgia just out of reach. The point being, perhaps, that each listener can tap into his/her random list of impressionistic imagery.
The pieces are about four or five minutes long and they blend into each other in such a way that the 37 minute duration could easily be treated as a single composition. It spirals along harmlessly enough drifting and droning into the background like a shy party guest.

The final track is called Kindly Rewind as if gently suggesting that we play the whole over and over on a continuous meditative loop.
