Ledley is the debut album of electroacoustic music performed by Raph Clarkson (trombone, FX), Chris Williams (saxophone, FX) and Riaan Vosloo (electronics, post-production)
Presumably one or all are Spurs fans since they are named after Ledley King who spent his 13 year playing career with the team and is now ambassador for the club.
The music is colourfully described as consisting of “burbles of nascent electronics, flurries of alto and oblique drones”. As such it belongs to a genre of music that the Apple TV series ‘Severance’ might have filed under the category “defiant jazz”.

Constructed around two sides of segued pieces, the forty minute album flows seamlessly together to the point that it is hardly necessary to highlight specific tracks.
It’s a record born of improvisation and friendship with a soothing ambient glow.
