Brace yourself: Chil Will's "All Frames of the Game" (http://www.fasttrakentertainment.com) is an album that moves at breakneck speed, an explosion of quick, in-your-face rhymes, cinematic sound effects, and propulsive, streetwise beats that are slick but still burning with urban grit.
The opening slice, "All Frames," starts with sampled rainfall, creating theatrical images before the pulse-pounding rhythms kick in. "I ain't no quitter/And I'm not gonna change" is the repeated message, a statement of defiance that illustrates the uncompromising vision of the record.
However, unlike much underground or independent hip-hop, "All Frames of the Game" doesn't sound like a cheap recording; the passion may be raw but the music isn't. The bouncy keyboards on "Sidewayz" leap out of the speakers in 3-D; listening to them is almost like being in a club, chirpy electronics grabbing the ears through a sharply produced mix.

There is some contagious party music on here such as "Bounce Rock Shake," a booty-shaking anthem that'll be go down as among the year's most playful romps.
Chil Will doesn't sound like any other rapper out there, which is a refreshing change of pace; he has his own distinct voice.
