Country tinged electro? Enough said. Attack + Defend seem devoid of anything remotely original or interesting. ‘More’ kicks into a mildly promising electro intro but that’s before front man Mark opens his mouth to elicit a tiresome yap. He simply can’t sing and I can’t find the CD remote.
‘More’ is a turgid, tired run of the mill attempt at some danceable indie disco whilst ‘Don’t play with gypsies in the wood’ I guess is where the country comes from, and is also where it should stay. ‘Posh it up’ hints at what could be an entertaining live performance whilst ‘Dreamfit’, a song so utterly annoying it could destroy a stress ball, only adds to my sense of despondency.
It only feels right to further cliché this whole process. If you don’t have something nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
