Vibration White Finger’s latest offering is a hard-nosed fusion of commanding guitars spurred on by a calculated and menacing bass line. ‘I Wont Do You Any Harm’ is a song on the look out for a Saturday night punch up in a local small town disco.
A two piece brass section and understated 909-sequencer add to the urgent and sinister undertow of the song and compliment both the music and lyrics alike during its 2 minute 45 second audio rampage. Immediate, infectious and incessant this is a perfect rebuke to inoffensive indie pop and serves as a reminder that there’s more to Wales than The Manic Street Preachers, Cerys Matthews and sheep.
