Review: 'HARMACY'
'CARLA'S SONG'

-  Label: 'MONOTONES'
-  Genre: 'Indie' -  Release Date: 'August 2006'

Our Rating:
'Carla’s Song’ is the debut single from Bradford lads HARMACY. It’s a simple, lo-fi tune in the style of Pavement or similar- with droning guitars and low monotone vocals, a combination that somehow works better than it should.

Luckily B-side, ‘Dead Letter Day’ manages to override any qualms
that listeners would have about the band; its up beat tune, jangley guitars and half sung, half spoken vocals help to show that here are a band who have the potential to release some wonderfully catchy and original songs. Wonderful!
