Review: 'PERFORMANCE'
'SHORT SHARP SHOCK (EP)'

-  Genre: 'Pop' -  Release Date: 'August 2006'

Our Rating:
Performance sound like a cross between a German heavy metal band, complete with echoing keyboards and reverberating bass and the Human League. All the elements are there, the mechanical drumbeats, the Casio keyboard harmonies and the obligatory key change at the end of each song.

Listening to their EP, you can clearly picture the feathered mullets and the tight spandex that the band members obviously wear whilst strutting up and down a stage surrounded by atmospheric smoke, making it hard to believe that Performance are a band who take themselves seriously, however fun and expressive their disco-pop tributes are.
