Having successfully tried her hand at an acting career, Sarah Harvey-Smart is now looking to infiltrate the music industry and is one of the latest in a long line of wannabe pop princesses knocking on the door of chart fame and fortune with the heartfelt ‘My Own’.
Luckily for Sarah not only does she have a crushed velvet voice, but she has the looks to match. Somewhere between Anastasia and Kelly Clarkson, her vocal talent is never in question and works well on a basic sultry level.
Unfortunately though, ‘My Own’ is somewhat tried, tested and tired. But all things being equal it’s not a bad effort and is sure to generate huge interest in teenage girls up and down the country who are in search of personal and feminine empowerment through music.
