File under Freakozoid, Hello! it says near the barcode. An understatement if ever I heard one. “Freaks, mutants, subhumans, cross breeds, monsters, clones, droids, evils, vampires, half Japanese, zombies, hybrids, Martians” lists the first track. Being an ex-Martian myself I felt welcomed.
“Toxic” is an album of a club night in Paris and features a rabid and engaging collection of randomised tracks by DJ’s Uncle “O” and Solo, including the excellent Antipop Consortium and the fab Dabrye (that’s Tadd Mullinix) It’s a lot fun and throws the curve balls to keep it all running fresh and strange. Moving into Peaches territory, the cover features a graphic of two He-She’s in animal masks holding dildo guns…yeah. Recommended to all shape shifters and fluid Druids on a bender.
