Four star Swedish house mafia…mmm. This two disc DJ set from Axwell exactly does what it says it will do on the front, give you a session soundtrack to stagger, dance and/ or facially grimace around Old Street underpass toasted at 5:00am looking for the Brick Lane 24 hour bagel shop (oh, the memories or indeed lack of them!).
CD1 is subtitled “The Club” and CD2 “The Villa”. I don’t own either but would certainly play this in them if I did. Ministry Of Sound have perfected this form of release and continue to raise the bench mark with this one. Axwell’s remix of Nelly Furtado ft. Timbaland -“Promiscuous” is here and also includes some very nice cuts of dub, deep and big room remixes.
