Deluka are part of the new wave of electronica that has been covering the pages of the NME recently. With a similar sound to the likes of The Union Of Knives and We Say Party, You Say Die! and Ladytron, Deluka can do no wrong in my eyes.
Unfortunately I was only sent a one track CD, but after checking out the band's myspace I could see that they are consistently good. So many bands try the indie/electro thing and it doesn't quite work, but Deluka have got it down to a T.
Lead singer Ellie gives a strong vocal, and carries each song very well. She certainly looks the part too. The band have the whole package too, so it's no surprise that the bands are being championed by the NME. Keep an eye on Deluka, as I'm sure we're set to see much more of them.

Belting record again...try to listen to the full ep Kelly, esp. the track 'Flashbacks'..
I am gonna go see them live methinks, they are right in t'middle of a club nme type of tour, just missed them play Oldham......
