Rock has never burst through from many other countries apart from the US and the UK, and possibly the odd drib drabs from Germany. French band Wolfunkind have emerged with their album ‘L’album de la Maturite’ (The Album of Maturity), which has apparently been relatively popular within their homeland. However I must be cruel to be kind, I do not see making it to the big time.
The trouble with it is, how are they going to break the US with French lyrics which to be honest even if they were in English wouldn’t make much sense.
To give them some credit though, their beats are fun and certain tracks featuring Angelo Moore from Fishbone, give them a boost.
