Hubb is a great slice of indie pop. Not sounding a million miles away from Rachel Stevens, this is a great fun record. Appealing to fans of both indie and pop, Hubb have got their sound perfected. Adding an element that is missing from many current indie tracks, this is great song for the New Year, and surely one to get everyone back out and partying after the January lull.
Front woman Lynsey Barrow looks great, almost like Kylie fronting her own band. I can imagine this is a band with an amazing live energy and very active show, something I'd definitely like to see.
I predict big things for Hubb in 2007, and I'm sure a major label will be snapping them up very soon.
