Review: 'MEBA'
'Betcha/Loop'

-  Label: 'Freon Rig (www.freonrigrecords.com)'
-  Genre: 'Dance' -  Release Date: '29th Oct 2007'-  Catalogue No: 'FR CD5'

Our Rating:

Ecstasy is a ‘keeper’ emotion that’s completely at odds with this forgettable release. Cheesy in the extreme, the over-vocal half-stepper ‘Betcha’ is well wide of the mark when it comes to recapturing the spirit of House music.

However, it’s a funny old genre, and a thin, thin line between love and hate, as illustrated by the reverse side ‘Loop’. Deep house vocals float with listless abandon as the track progresses to the exclusion of all else. This is actually one to get lost in, one to move and groove in and out of – for four minutes at least!” Huge sighs breathe the deepest joy outside of true love whilst the body shudders and tingles to the broken-beat trance. This could well save your sanity!
