Review: 'DAN LE SAC Vs SCROOBIUS PIP'
'Letter From God To Man'

-  Label: 'Sunday Best(www.myspace.com/lesacvspip)'
-  Genre: 'Hip-Hop' -  Release Date: '28th July 2008'-  Catalogue No: 'SBESTCD24'

Our Rating:
Yet another groundbreaking 7 inches of innovative thought from DAN LE SAC and SCROOBIUS PIP to savour, this release sees the jaw-dropping pop assault continue with this latest gem from The Berkshire/Essex trailblazers

. ‘Letter From God To Man’ literally explodes into life off the back of Le Sac’s head-mashing reworking of Radiohead whilst the Essex MC’s words of wisdom are dropped first person direct from the Kingdom of Heaven, thus offering (by way of an apology) an exploration of God’s vulnerable humanity.

Big subject matter tackled head on, and from straight out of the mouth of The Man, this makes for compulsive listening. Cerebral caustic and tongue-in cheek, Pip remains true to the rhythms of speech as the panic attack vibrations threaten breakdown amidst the breakbeat. Elsewhere, ambient grooves writhe as the tension is heightened, with Le Sac’s sample spitfire wringing more drama from Radiohead’s ‘Planet Telex’ than you would have dreamed possible

It’s the perfect send-off track, the date of release means that this limited edition vinyl classic will hit the shelves just days after the news that the dynamic duo’s tour has expanded in truly global fashion.
