Oklahoma and Yorkshire are the roots of indie rockers Colourmusic. Quite how influenced they are by their origins it hard to say on the strength of this, their UK debut. A meaty rhythm drives along a fuzzy neo-glam guitar line and it's got an easy, catchy feel to it. It's also deeply repetitive lyrically, which makes it memorable, but also rather irritating.
'Yes!' is supported by a fairly irksome video that's currently screening on YouTube, which features lots of people punching the air as the (repetitive) lyrics flash up on the screen. Just in case you couldn't make them out, like.
It'll probably be huge, so surrender to it now.
