The Wind by Elisa Caleb literally blew me away when I first listened (sorry for the pun). Her soothing voice brings comparison to Norah Jones and the Joni-Mitchell-esq production will see this track go from strength to strength and see it rival top artists on national radio stations. The track has all the characteristics of a chill-out record but without the tacky connotations of the ‘easy-listening’ genre and the emotion delivered through the vocals is enough for send a shiver down your spine.
I very much look forward to hearing more from this singer, I understand other tracks sway more to the traditional jazz genre but this is a number I can see being very successful.
