Review: 'Dakota'
'We Get Along'

-  Album: 'Heart & Soul' -  Label: 'GRL Records'
-  Genre: 'Pop'

Our Rating:
Yes! Yes! We like Dakota already over here..

As the brainchild of the hugely talented, and handsome too it must be said, front man Ben Talbot, We Get Along harks back to the glory days of Britpop but there’s a distinct modern twist in there too. Imagine if you can Suede singing Embrace singing early Keane. Not convinced yet? Well, if I tell you that the band have already played with the likes of The Saturdays and Pixie Lott, received a huge amount of airplay and have some amazing videos, you’ll begin to get the idea of how high these guys are reaching at the moment.

Taking their name from the New York apartment where John Lennon lived and died, Dakota are onto a winner with their rousing, if a little formulaic, popular indie that boasts tenderness and strength in equal measure. We can’t wait for the album. Emotive rock has never been so joyous.
