Taken from WILD BEASTS' almost universally-acclaimed second album 'Two Dancers', the tantalising 'We Still Got the Taste Dancin' on our Tongues' was always making 'come hither' eyes at possible single status.
A wonderfully ethereal tale of insatiable lust, it shimmers and shakes around a galloping, in'n'out drum pattern and bittersweet House of Love-style guitars before licking every drop of pleasure (“when we pucker up, our lips are bee-stung...we got gusto, we are headstrong”) from a provocatively hedonistic lyric. It's exotic, but perfectly weighted and always keeps its' eyes on the melodic prize.
The 'Gatekeeper Remix' unleashes a tiger of a totally different stripe (all thrumming and throbbing motorik beats, disembodied vocals and dancefloor chill), but it's the single's dreamlike promotional video (www.wild-beasts.co.uk) which will really have you levitating.
