Feldberg are a pop duo from Reykjavik consisting of singer Rosa Birgitta Isfeld and multi instrumentalist Einar Tonsberg (known to his friends as Eberg) .
It's a partnership Eberg describes as "like a relationship without the romance"
This single is a taster for a debut album due out in 2011. Just over two minutes long it's a short, sweet acoustic song. Or maybe not so sweet.
Despite the coy, cutesy vocals the lyrics takes an assertively unsentimental point of view of a break up; vaguely mocking a guy's promise of being "there for me" since it is she who is doing the leaving and if she's crying, it's not for the loss of him.
"Good things happen slowly", she sings and Feldberg are definitely on the right track with pure pop as fine as this.
