This single comes off of Paul Curreri's seventh album The Big Shitty. Now he has slipped somewhat from under my radar and onto my CD player and I have to say I like what I heard. The main track, Poor Little Motorbike, has nice grizzled vocals over some good understated guitar parts that at times seem like they are being buried in the mix somewhere just before the acoustic guitars take over and give some idea of what it might be like to ride through the Blue Ridge mountains from where he hails.
The b-side is Juju which isn't the Dr John song but is a question and answer song about where his love has gone again. Not sure if it's about his actual love his wife Devon Sproule or not. Either way a good single that makes me want to hear the album. Job done.
